Mayor is known to be insane and just flat out weird. Past

Mayor was once the Chief of War, serving an emperor of a powerful kingdom. He had a family, Liuyan Zhu (husband), and Bai He (daughter).One day he went out to battle. However, after winning and returning home, while they were gone the village had been attacked and lit aflame. Out of desperation, he runs into the flames in search of his family. But they were already gone.

Blue MK Arc

Mayor was once entirely devoted to Lady Bone Demon, however formed a connection with a girl named Bai He. He was not sure why, as at this point his past was a faded memory.
In the end, he betrayed Lady Bone Demon when she tried to attack Bai He, sealing her away inside the calabash.

Past Remembrances Arc

At this point, Mayor has a larger family. Their partner is Syntax, and they have a son, Ming. Bai He also sees him as a father figure. However, without Lady Bone Demon controlling him so much, Mayor's memories begin to return through migraines.He realizes that his children will likely die before him. Devastated and desperate once again, he attempts to make them drink immortal peach tea. Ming accepts, but Bai He refuses and leaves. Mayor assumes he'll be able to change her mind eventually.It goes out for a walk, cracking its head open upon a rock which sends him into an episode of amnesia. This is when he remembers his past, and the trauma that had been hidden away for so long. Him losing his family in the past is the exact reason why he attempted the tea fiasco in the present.Mayor eventually is knocked back to normal, but his damage had been done, shattering his relationship with the child he had seen as his daughter. Despite apologizing and coming to terms with her, it would take time before she was comfortable enough seeing him as a father figure again.
